Fuel-efficient rocket stoves help keep smoke out of the kitchen. Smoke inhalation is the fourth leading cause of death among women and children in the developing world! By building a cook stove differently, lives can be saved. This t-shirt, designed by one of our former Learn & Serve interns Beth Rhodes, showcases the 16-brick rocket stove taught through SIFAT training.

One of our graduates in northern Nigeria trains community leaders, women and school-aged children how to build these stoves. Five dollars ($5) from each t-shirt sale goes directly to fund his training.
